On this E.P. Ghislain Poirier turns up the tempo, to somewhere 'round 160 bpm...

He takes elements from Soca and adds an electronic touch to produce four guaranteed dancefloor scorchers.

I did the Immigrant Visa track, which is loosely autobiographical.

Soca Sound System is the first in a series of E.P.s Ghislain Poirier will drop on the NinjaTune label this year.

The E.P.s will be released to mp3 and vinyl formats, and will end up as part of a full length effort this year.

Earlier last month, as part of PTS (Party Time Society) Radio, DJs Searchl1te, Jeekoos, Cringer and I put together a Radio Event / Retrospective on the music of Ghislain. {{Soca Sound System Night}}
